The SanDisk Optimus 5100 is a 500GB internal NVMe SSD using a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface, aimed at content creators, professionals and advanced users who want a meaningful speed upgrade over older storage.
It delivers read speeds of up to 6,600MB/s and write speeds of up to 5,600MB/s, for faster application loading, smoother work with large files and quicker content-creation workflows. SanDisk nCache 4.0 technology helps sustain performance during large file transfers and multitasking, and eighth-generation SanDisk BiCS QLC 3D NAND provides the underlying storage in a slim M.2 2280 form factor suited to both laptops and desktops.
SanDisk Dashboard software allows monitoring, benchmarking and firmware updates on Windows, with Acronis True Image support for migrating data to the new drive.
