The ATEN UC232C is a compact adapter that connects RS-232 serial devices to laptops and PCs via USB-C, for systems that no longer have a built-in COM port. It suits industrial equipment, medical devices, POS terminals, cameras, alarm systems, and similar serial gear.
It supports data rates up to 921.6Kbps for fast, stable transfers, works across Windows, Mac, and Linux with true plug-and-play setup (no drivers needed), and is bus-powered directly from the USB port. Anti-EMI shielding and a compact, portable build with a 45cm cable round out the design.
