The ATEN VK401 is an expansion accessory for ATEN's VK430 and VK330 control panels, adding smart-card based user authentication for meeting rooms and secured spaces.
It reads Mifare and Felica cards (UID only) for contactless check-in, door locking/unlocking and control scenarios, and integrates with ATEN's Unizon management platform for user management, presence tracking and usage reporting.
