The Creality CFS-C (Creality Filament System) automates filament handling for compatible K1-series 3D printers, switching between spools automatically and identifying material and colour via RFID on supported Creality spools. Connecting up to four CFS-C units enables multi-colour printing with up to 16 colours without manual filament changes.
The system also functions as filament storage, with a sealed chamber that helps protect against moisture and monitors internal conditions to keep material quality consistent over time. Built-in sensors track each spool and can automatically pause printing if a problem is detected, including running out of filament or a tangle, and the system can switch to a matching spool or let you choose a different colour to finish the print.
An external cutter and buffer route filament waste outside the printer without a purge step, keeping the print area cleaner and easier to maintain during colour changes, and the system also tracks cutter wear and alerts you when it needs replacing.
